Antelope Valley College has unveiled what will be the finest community college sports complex in southern California.
The 5000 seat stadium is scheduled to begin construction on Nov. 15, and will include artificial turf, a new track, have equal seating on the home and visitor side and new press box. The entrance will shift from the southern to northern end of parking lot 3, in a more central location near the baseball and softball fields as well.
The area to the west of Marauder Stadium, has also been converted to soccer fields for AVC practice as well as community use.
The baseball team are no longer without a home stadium. When built the Marauders will have a baseball field capable of seating 300 fans, a press box and a new concessions stand located at the northwest end of Marauder Stadium.
